  1. Nickster,
First and foremost, Aunt Nancy has been following the blog but has no gmail address, so she is viewing through my address. That said, what about those long white hallways? I was scared. Were you? Glad you are getting out and about but be wary of Germany. I know I am biased, but just be wary. Sure they have great beer but there are other issues. Happy you're having a good time and know we're hanging out with mom and dad and having wild times! Some nights even staying up until after midnight!!! Crazy empty nesters. Continue to enjoy.

  2. Hey!
Those long white hallways were a part of the Holocaust memorial which was just stunning. The trip was a lot of fun and a cool experience. Wild times,eh? That sounds wonderful! Isn't blogging a cool thing? I like it. I will absolutely follow yours!

  3. Hi,
I loved the video and was likewise moved and a little frightened by the Holocaust Memorial. I was also glad to see that you visited other - less depressing :)- sites. The museums looked fabulous! And of course, Checkpoint Charlie was a must! I did miss your commentaries, though. They are so much fun to read. Where to next?

  4. The holocaust memorial is amazing! And yes, it's meant to evoke creepy feelings. Did you know that Hitler's underground bunker was under what is now the apartment complex across the street from this memorial? Kind a smart for the Germans to create this giant, can't help but see it memorial as well as happy, clean, play ground ridden apartments so close to such a hide-out.
